Commercial Electrician (6-7 Week Contract)

Location: Penryn, Cornwall
Contract Length: 6/7 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time (Monday–Friday, with overtime available if required)
Rate: Competitive hourly/day rate, dependent on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician for a 6-week contract on a commercial project in Penryn, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable electrician to join a professional team working on a fast-paced site.

Key Responsibilities

* Installation of commercial electrical systems

* Containment work (trunking, conduit, tray and basket)

* First and second fix electrical work

* Wiring, testing and fault finding

* Installation of lighting, power and distribution equipment

* Working safely and efficiently in accordance with current regulations

* Liaising with site supervisors and other trades as required

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician

* Valid ECS/CSCS card

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification

* Ability to read and work from electrical drawings

* Own tools and PPE

* IPAF certification is advantageous but not essential
