Description:
An opportunity for an Electrician to join an Oil and Gas Company with a strong reputation has now become available based in North Aberdeenshire. The purpose of the role will be to work effectively as part of a team to install, service, repair and maintain offshore equipment. Repairing and upgrading electrical equipment will be an integral part of the role.
Responsibilities:
* Installation, service and repair of all equipment.
* Logging of information.
* Liaise closely with management teams.
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
* Provide back-up assistance to colleagues where needed.
* Help train colleagues across various disciplines.
Offshore/ Overseas Maintenance:
* Travelling overseas/ offshore to install, service and repair equipment as required.
* Be prepared to undertake medicals, vaccinations and training as required for offshore/ overseas travel.
Essential Experience:
* Certified Electrical Qualification.
* Inspection of electrical systems, fault finding, testing and repair.
* Working with electrical schematic and wiring diagrams.
Remuneration:
* £20.45ph + strong overtime rates + offshore day rate.
