Industrial Electrician – Southampton – c£54k/£57k (JIB Rates) + Van
This company is an accredited member of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) and a NICEIC Approved Contractor Scheme. They undertake all aspects of electrical installation works across the Public and Private sectors on Commercial, Industrial and Utility premises.
They are looking to employ experienced JIB accredited electrician to work on various projects, supported by their in-house Civil Engineering capability for projects that require trenching and cable laying and/or foundation works.
There full provision of services includes:
Repairs and Maintenance
Underground Cable installation
Electric Vehicle Charging
Exterior Lighting Projects
Earthing Arrangements including Earth Mats and Nests
Electrical Testing
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
Power Quality Assessments
Distribution Board upgrades
About you
You will be qualified JIB accredited, self-motivated and experienced working at heights in an industrial environment, including Street Lighting.
* Ideally 3 years Street Lighting installations experience
* Must demonstrate good awareness of site and company rules
* Safe Isolation / G39
* SWQR Qualification
* NRSWA
* MEWP Operator
* ECS H&S Test
* First Aid (Appointed Person)
* Manual Handling
* 18th Edition Electrical
* Preferable registration to Highways Electrical Level 3 NVQ
