Electrician – High-End Residential & Smart Home Technology

Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham & Wider Midlands
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (sub-contractors considered)

We're recruiting for a specialist electrical and smart-home technology company working on exclusive, high-end residential properties across Edgbaston and the wider Midlands.

Our client delivers bespoke electrical installations, architectural lighting and integrated smart-home technology, working alongside architects, interior designers and specialist trades to create exceptional homes.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys quality residential work, has an eye for detail and wants to develop their skills within a growing specialist business.

What you'll be doing

First and second fix electrical installations on luxury residential properties.

*

Installing lighting, power, distribution boards and associated electrical systems.

*

Working with architectural lighting and smart-home installations.

*

Installing cabling and infrastructure for lighting control, AV, data and security systems.

*

Reading electrical drawings and working to detailed specifications.

*

Delivering an exceptional standard of workmanship and finish.

*

Working professionally alongside clients, designers and other trades.

What we're looking for in our Electrician

*

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

*

Strong domestic installation experience, ideally within high-end residential projects.

*

Excellent first and second fix skills with a keen eye for detail.

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*

Professional, reliable and comfortable working in clients' homes.

*

Full UK driving licence.

*

A genuine interest in developing your knowledge of smart-home technology.
