Electricians – AWE Aldermaston
Location: AWE Aldermaston, Berkshire
Contract Type: Contract
Duration: 6–7 weeks (project completion required by the end of November)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £26.00 per hour CIS
Working Hours: Monday–Friday standard, but potential for up to 72 hours per week
Overtime: Saturday work available
Clearance: Valid SC or DV clearance required
Job Overview
We are currently looking for Electricians to support ongoing works at AWE Aldermaston.
Working within a module building, you will assist the team with installing electrical containment and supporting wiring activities to help ensure the project is completed within the required timeframe.
Key Responsibilities
Installing electrical containment within the module building.
Assisting with wiring and general electrical installation activities.
Supporting the wider electrical team to meet project deadlines.
Maintaining high standards of health and safety within a highly regulated environment.
Essential Requirements
JIB Gold Card
Valid SC or DV security clearance
Previous electrical installation experience.
Ability to work the required hours and start at short notice.
Additional Information
Immediate starts available.
Approximately 6–7 weeks of work.
Long working days, with the potential for up to 72 hours per week.
Saturday overtime available.
