Job Description:

A skilled Electrician (18th Edition) is being sought to join the team at a leading Facility Management (FM) company. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical systems in commercial settings across Inverness and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems in commercial buildings.
2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimise downtime.
3. Performing installations and upgrades of electrical components and systems as required.
4. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
5. Liaising with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide excellent customer service.
6. Completing accurate paperwork, including job reports, timesheets, and documentation of work carried out.
7. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Electrician with a valid 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate.
2. Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance and installations.
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Effective communication skills and customer service orientation.
7. Full UK driving license.
