Location: Ipswich based office / sites across London & South East
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE - Travel time paid OTE £50k+
Hours: Monday-Friday - Call out rota
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
A well-established national building services contractor is looking to expand its project team with experienced Electricians to work across major private and public sector projects, including high-security sites and government buildings.
The business has grown into a national contractor over the last 10 years with a high volume of engineers on the road daily, offering services across the mechanical and electrical sector. What You'll Be Doing
* Carry out electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair works across Ipswich and nationwide sites
* Work across high-security sites and government buildings
* Follow instructions from Lead Engineers and support the delivery of projects to a high standard
* Work across multiple projects while managing priorities and deadlines
* Complete electrical works in line with current regulations and Health & Safety requirements
* Carry out company Risk Assessments where required
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
* Work both independently and as part of a wider project team
* Maintain high standards of workmanship, compliance and customer service
* Travel to various sites and stay away when required, with appropriate notice
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 electrical qualification / Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* 18th Edition qualification
* Testing & Inspection – 2391 or equivalent
* ECS Card
* Proven site experience in a similar electrical role
* Minimum 3 years' relevant industry experience
* Good knowledge of electrical, construction and building services systems
* Enhanced DBS clearance or ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
* Full clean manual UK driving licence – confidential discussions regarding points
