New Build Prison Project | Long-Term Work | Up to 50 Hours Per Week
Electricians - £25.00 per hour
Electrical Improvers - £20.00 per hour
Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire
Start Date: Mid July 2026
Hours: 48–50 Hours Per Week

M&E Giants Recruitment are currently recruiting for Electricians and Electrical Improvers for a major new build prison development in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
This is a large-scale public services infrastructure project offering long-term work, consistent hours and the opportunity to be part of a high-profile government-funded development.
We are looking for reliable and experienced operatives with a strong background in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Duties Will Include:
* Installation of containment systems
* Basket, tray, trunking and conduit
* Cable pulling and cable management
* 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation works
* Installation of lighting and power systems
* Working as part of a large site team on a major construction project
* Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
Electricians
* JIB Gold Card Essential
* IPAF Essential
* Previous commercial or industrial installation experience
* Own tools and PPE
Electrical Improvers
* ECS Card Essential
* IPAF Essential
* Previous commercial or industrial installation experience
* Own tools and PPE
