Woking, Surrey
£250 – £270 per day + Data Centre Project + Contract Until February 2027 + Immediate Start
Secure a solid contract working on a large-scale data centre project in Woking, Surrey. We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Tester to join a professional site team carrying out electrical inspection, testing and certification works.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Tester looking for competitive day rates, consistent work through to February 2027 and valuable experience within the growing data centre sector.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until February 2027
Location: Woking, Surrey
Project: Data Centre – Electrical Installation
Rate: £250 – £270 per day
Your Role Will Include:
*
Electrical inspection and testing across data centre installations
*
Initial verification and testing of electrical circuits
*
Completing Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs)
*
Carrying out continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and RCD testing
*
Identifying and reporting electrical defects and non-compliances
*
Testing electrical distribution systems and associated installations
*
Working from electrical drawings and technical specifications
*
Ensuring all testing complies with BS 7671 regulations
*
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
The Successful Electrical Tester Will Have:
*
JIB Gold Card / NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electrician
*
18th Edition qualification
*
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification or equivalent
*
Strong experience in commercial or industrial electrical testing
*
Previous data centre experience desirable
*
Experience testing electrical distribution systems
*
Ability to complete electrical certification accurately
*
Own calibrated testing equipment, tools and PPE
*
Reliable, professional attitude and ability to work independently
