Role: Test Engineer
Contract: 12 months+
Location: North West
Rate: £34 - £37/ph Umbrella
SRG are currently recruiting for an Electrical/ Electronics Test Engineer to join a successful client on an initial 12-month contract with the view of extension. As the Test Engineer you will be responsible for production test and diagnostics of complex weapons at system and subsystem level.
Responsibilities:
Test complex electronic and electrical equipment
Assess test equipment issues and resolve equipment failures down
Evaluate technical problems in order to develop proposals for investigations and corrective actions, including process improvements
Criteria:
HNC/HND Electronics (or equivalent)
An understanding of RF and microwave technology at subsystem level
An understanding of Environmental testing (desirable)
Must be a UK passport holder
