We’re seeking an Electrical Technician to support practical training sessions and help develop the next generation of electricians. You’ll stay hands-on in a workshop environment, without site deadlines, callouts, or travel between jobs.

Based in Ashford, Surrey, it’s commutable from Weybridge , Staines-upon-Thames, Walton-on-Thames, Chertsey, Woking, Sunbury-on-Thames, Kingston upon Thames and surrounding areas.

The salary on offer is £31,500, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm, you'll enjoy a structured working week, generous holiday entitlement, an excellent pension scheme and the satisfaction of seeing learners progress into successful careers within the industry. 

What you’ll be doing...

This role sits within a busy training environment, supporting electrical learners during practical workshop sessions. You’ll help ensure ssessions run smoothly by preparing equipment, maintaining a safe workspace, and assisting tutors and students during hands-on training. This includes: 

•    Setting up tools, materials, and equipment for practical sessions

•    Maintaining a safe, organised, and fully equipped workshop environment

•    Supporting tutors and learners during hands-on training activities

•    Monitoring stock levels and ensuring materials are readily available

•    Identifying and reporting any faults, defects, or safety concerns

What we’re looking for…

•    A Level 2 qualification in a construction or electrical discipline

•    Previous industry experience in electrical or construction environments

•    You will be practical, organised, and have a safety-conscious approach

•    A Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) is desirable
