Description:
Based on site at Stone, you will also be required to travel to client sites, which may require overnight stays (over time and uplift for overnight stays payable).
No on-call working – home every weekend
As Electrical Team Leader, the key duties will include:
* Supervising and motivating a team of technicians
* Using electrical installation experience to support workshop quality
* Completing physical checks on BOMs
* Completing electrical testing and CompEx inspections
* Working with the Workshop Manager to deliver departmental targets
* Assisting with the planning of workshop and site requirements
* Planning and allocating work
* Carrying out team performance reviews, absence management etc
* Providing leadership in problem resolution that affect quality and on time delivery
* Responsibility for the electrical equipment and machinery
* Supporting continuous improvement
Key skills and experience required:
* Time served, experienced and qualified electrician with previous supervisory experience
* NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation
* City and Guilds 18th Edition, and Test and Inspection
* CompEx EX01-04
* Strong organisation skills
Experience of the following would be an advantage:
* Good understanding of 5S
* Good IT skills
* Knowledge of CDM
* Gas industry experience
Candidate must have a full clean licence, and own transport due to location
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 40 hours
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
