Electrical Supervisor

I am working a growing housing association in Salford and Greater Manchester who are looking to recruit an Electrically biased Compliance Manager. The primary objective of this role is to ensure their housing stock complies with legal and safety regulations. This is achieved by managing market-leading services and implementing industry best practices. As part of the Building Safety & Compliance Team, the role involves leading a team of technically qualified contractors to meet all legislative requirements.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about contract management and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in property maintenance. The ideal candidate will have an electrical background either from a trade perspective or within a previous compliance role. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage contractors to ensure compliance with legal requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for property management.

- Assist in budget development, monitoring, and reporting to achieve financial and value-for-money objectives.

- Maintain compliance databases and share information to senior management and external stakeholders.

- Create strategies for flexible and agile property services that meet customer needs and legislative requirements.

- Oversee annual testing, servicing, and repair programmes within areas of responsibility.

Experience Required:

* Electrically biased with knowledge of fixed wire testing

* Prior experience with managing subcontractors

* Good IT Skills

* Driving license
