Electrical Supervisor - Construction

About the role:

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading EPC company in the renewable energy sector, to support with a pipeline of utility scale solar site constructions across the UK.

The Electrical Supervisor role comes with a salary between £40,000 - £50,000 + KPI driven bonus and other company benefits with excellent development and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Site Manager you will:
Plan, supervise and coordinate subcontractors performing electrical construction works.
Review electrical installation works carried out against specifications, supplier manuals and contractual requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all team has relevant training, tools, and equipment.
Complete Construction site documentation in a timely manner.
Ensure all HSQE is maintained to the highest standards and in compliance with UK HSE and CDM regulations and task specific RAMS.
Review works in accordance with inspection and test plans.
Identify and escalate any NCR's or risks to budget, programme or quality to Site or Project Management teams.
Review and check material deliveries.

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
Qualified electrician, BS7671 17th or 18th edition.
NVQ level 3 Electrical Installation/ Maintenance.
C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing highly desirable.
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification is highly desirable.

Personal skills:
The Electrical Supervisor role would suit someone who is:
Experience in Renewable Energy technologies in the UK, specifically Solar PV/ Battery Storage is highly advantageous.
Desire to work for a leader in renewable energy, or international company.
Clean UK driving license.

Salary and benefits of the Electrical Supervisor role:
Salary from £40,000 - £50,000 DOE.
7.5% KPI driven bonus.
