Electrical Supervisor
£35,000 - £38,500 + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card + Benefits
Cardiff / South Wales
A well-established and growing electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects across South Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional with strong site leadership skills who enjoys managing teams, maintaining high standards and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on programme.
Working closely with Project Managers and senior leadership, you'll play a key role in supervising electrical installations from start to finish while supporting the continued growth of the business.
The Role
* Supervise electricians and subcontractors on commercial and industrial projects.
* Plan and allocate labour resources to meet project programmes and deadlines.
* Oversee electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
* Ensure works are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
* Carry out site inspections, quality checks and progress reviews.
* Interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
* Provide technical guidance and support to site teams.
* Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress and provide updates to Project Managers.
* Promote a positive health & safety culture on site.
What We're Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* ECS / CSCS Card.
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Previous experience supervising electrical installation teams.
* Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
* Ability to lead teams and coordinate site activities effectively.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
* A proactive approach to quality, safety and project delivery.
Desirable but not essential
-City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
-First Aid at Work.
-Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
