The Role
We are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee a small maintenance team consisting of 5 Engineers and 2 Apprentices.
The role will involve providing electrical maintenance support across site facilities, foundry equipment and machinery, ensuring planned maintenance schedules are completed and responding effectively to breakdowns.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising a team of 5 Engineers and 2 Apprentices
* Providing electrical maintenance for site facilities, foundry equipment and machinery
* Adhering to PPM and TPM schedules
* Responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
* Reading and working from electrical and panel drawings
* Fault finding down to component level
* PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace faults
* Installation and commissioning of new machinery
The Successful Candidate Will:
* Be an experienced Engineer with a background in heavy industry and/or manufacturing
* Hold an Electrical qualification at Level 3 or above
* Be capable of diagnosing PLC logic faults
