Electrical Supervisor – M&E
SSA are recruiting an Electrical Supervisor on behalf of a specialist electrical contractor based in London. You will oversee electrical installation works on site, coordinating operatives and subcontractors to deliver works safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
About the client
Our client is a specialist electrical contractor delivering technically demanding construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in project delivery, working closely with site management and project teams.
Key responsibilities

Supervise electrical installation works, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
*
Coordinate electricians, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities.
*
Monitor progress against the programme, reporting issues to the project manager.
*
Organise labour, materials and equipment to maintain efficient site operations.
*
Conduct site briefings and ensure works follow risk assessments, method statements and health and safety procedures.
*
Inspect completed installations, manage snagging and support testing, commissioning and handover.
*
Liaise with other trades to coordinate works and resolve installation issues.
Requirements
*
A minimum of 3 years’ electrical supervisory experience within M&E or electrical contracting.
*
Strong understanding of electrical installations, drawings and specifications.
*
Experience supervising electricians and subcontractors on construction projects.
*
Relevant electrical qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
*
Current ECS card and SSSTS or SMSTS.
*
Good knowledge of BS 7671 wiring regulations and site health and safety.
*
Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
