Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Electrical Site Manager in Central London!
Are you a skilled Electrical Site Manager with a passion for overseeing and delivering electrical projects to perfection? Look no further! Our client, a leading electrical subcontractor, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team in Central London, United Kingdom.
Role Overview: As an Electrical Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing electrical projects from conception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the complete project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Collaborating closely with our in-house commercial team to oversee costs of labour, procurement, and final accounts.
* Liaising and communicating effectively with our estimating department to ensure accurate project estimations.
* Representing the company at weekly progress meetings, design team meetings, and client meetings.
* Providing progress reports, mark-ups, and labour planning to ensure project milestones are met.
* Ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations on site.
* Managing site staff and subcontractors, overseeing their work and ensuring quality control.
* Taking financial responsibility for projects and working closely with project surveyors to produce monthly cost reports.
* Updating and maintaining Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) documents.
Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
* Extensive understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and Codes of Practices.
* Proficiency in budgeting and project management.
* Effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
* Good level of IT proficiency.
* Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in electrical engineering or project management (minimum SSSTS, ideally SMSTS).
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
