Shift Pattern: Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights, 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)

Electrical Senior Shift Technician – Corporate & Critical Environment
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Senior Shift Technician to join a highly skilled engineering team at a prestigious corporate and critical building in the heart of Kings Cross.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, multi-storey commercial property, supporting the operation and maintenance of critical electrical infrastructure while enjoying excellent benefits, career progression opportunities, and a strong work-life balance through a continental shift pattern.
Working as part of a dedicated 2-engineer shift team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all building services systems across a 10-floor corporate and critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and associated building services systems.
* Monitor and operate critical plant and infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime.
* Respond to alarms, faults, and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
* Undertake fault finding and diagnostics on electrical systems and equipment.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety procedures.
* Support and oversee specialist subcontractors on site.
* Complete accurate maintenance records and reports through CAFM systems.
* Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures.
* Provide technical support and guidance within the shift team where required.
* Participate in site emergency response and escalation procedures.
Requirements:
* Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, EAL or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* Experience working within critical, data centre, corporate, banking, healthcare, or high-profile commercial environments.
* Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
* Good understanding of building services systems including UPS, generators, LV systems, AHUs, FCUs, and BMS interfaces.
* Previous experience working on a continental shift pattern is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
