Electrical Shift Engineer
Location: Oxford Circus, Central London
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum + Overtime
Shift Pattern: 4 On, 4 Off (Days Only) – 7:00am to 7:00pm
Call-Out Rota: 1 in 4 Weeks (£100 Standby Payment)
The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious commercial property located in the heart of Oxford Circus.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer seeking a stable days-only shift position within a high-profile building. Working as part of a professional on-site team, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring the smooth operation of all building services.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical and associated building services equipment.
* Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across the building.
* Maintain LV systems, lighting, emergency lighting, UPS systems, switchgear and control systems.
* Support mechanical and building services maintenance where required.
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests and building emergencies.
* Ensure all statutory compliance tasks are completed and documented.
* Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and occupiers.
* Participate in the call-out rota (1 in 4 weeks).
Candidate Requirements:
* Recognised Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* Previous experience working within commercial building maintenance environments.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
* Good knowledge of electrical building services systems.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a shift team.
Salary & Benefits:
