Electrical Shift Engineer
Location: City of London
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental Shift – Days & Nights
Hours: 7:00am–7:00pm / 7:00pm–7:00am
Overtime: Available
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a professional facilities management team working at a prestigious site in the City of London.

You will work as part of a dedicated engineering team, ensuring the electrical and building services across the site are maintained to a high standard and operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
* Respond to electrical faults and breakdowns, diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs where required.
* Complete routine inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete relevant documentation.
* Work closely with the wider engineering and facilities team.
* Support contractors and specialist engineers when required.
* Ensure health & safety and compliance standards are maintained at all times.
* Participate fully in the continental shift rota, covering both days and nights.
The Ideal Candidate
* Electrically qualified, ideally Level 3 Electrical / NVQ or equivalent.
* Previous experience working within commercial buildings, facilities management or a similar environment.
* Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills.
* Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Professional approach with good communication skills.
* Comfortable working a continental shift pattern covering days and nights.
* Previous experience within a high-profile commercial environment would be advantageous.
