Description:
We have a opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join a M&E contractor based out of Sutton. Our client have a turnover of 4 Million, dealing with projects valued from £50,000 up to £500,000 in the commercial sector.
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from conception to completion. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, organize, and manage electrical projects from start to finish
* Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
* Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify any potential issues
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
* Monitor project performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
* Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Qualified JIB Electrician
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes
* Proficiency in using project management software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
