Description:
Electrical Project Manager required for our client based out of the Cheshire area.
The ideal candidate will hold a strong electrical and renewables background and is contractor experienced. You will be confident in running projects in a commercial sector for the value of £50,000 up to £250,000 - predominantly located in the Northwest.
The successful candidate needs to be a self-starter, a team player and commercially oriented. This role offers a hybrid style of working, however candidates based between Liverpool and Manchester would be preferred.
Package:
* £50,000 - £52,000 per annum

* Hours: Monday – Thursday 9-5 and Friday 9-2
* 20 days holiday per year increasing by one day per year, plus bank holidays

Duties
* Provide Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering assistance throughout project life cycle including tendering, procurement, design, manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning
* Preparation and development of risk assessments, method statements, work packages, planning & scheduling and final site commissioning reports
* Organisation of labour, subcontractors and materials ensuring that projects are delivered to a high standard and within set budgets
* Communications with all parties ensuring they are kept up to date during the progression of each project
* Daily progress reporting and attendance of client interface meetings
* Tendering and sales support
* Able to work on your own initiative
* Work effectively and calmly to meet deadlines
Qualifications and skills
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering – preferred
* Certified Electrician with relevant licenses and certifications.
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role
* Previous experience in renewable energy projects is preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
* Ability to manage a project through to handover
* Ability to read and understand architectural / technical drawings
* Full UK driving licence
