Location: Maidstone
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time

Lead High-Value Electrical Projects from Design to Completion

Our Client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing M&E team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of design and build projects valued up to £2 million, managing every stage of the project lifecycle from initial design and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and final handover.

Working across both new-build and refurbishment projects, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage electrical and M&E projects from inception to completion.

* Conduct site surveys and support estimating activities.

* Develop project programmes and delivery plans.

* Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.

* Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and commercial performance.

* Prepare progress reports, commercial reports, and management updates.

* Manage procurement schedules, supplier requisitions, and purchase orders.

* Oversee technical submittals, RFIs, risk registers, and document control.

* Drive value engineering and margin improvement opportunities.

* Attend project meetings, produce minutes, and track actions.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental legislation, and company procedures.

* Manage project handovers, operation and maintenance manuals, certifications, and completion documentation.

* Provide leadership and supervisory support to site teams and operatives.

About You

* OND, HND, Degree in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

* Proven project management experience within the building services or M&E sector.

* SMSTS qualification.

* Valid CSCS Card.

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in contracting and project management.

* Strong knowledge of budgeting, procurement, contract management, and cost control.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and organisational skills.

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects to demanding deadlines.
