Commercial Electrical Project Manager
Location: Trafalgar Square, London
Project: 5-Storey Commercial Office Development
Duration: Initial 42-week project with long-term opportunities beyond
We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join a leading MEP contractor on a prestigious office development in the heart of London, based in Trafalgar Square.
The successful candidate will join the project during the pre-construction phase, taking responsibility for the electrical package from initial planning through to successful completion. The initial project is expected to run for approximately 42 weeks, with a strong pipeline of secured work commencing next year, providing the opportunity to move directly onto future London projects.
Responsibilities
* Manage the electrical package from pre-construction through to handover.
* Coordinate design development, procurement and programme delivery.
* Manage subcontractors, supervisors and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
* Attend client, design and coordination meetings.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and the client.
* Ensure all electrical works are delivered to the highest standards of health & safety, quality and compliance.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager delivering commercial MEP projects.
* Strong background working on office developments or similar commercial projects.
* Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
* Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
* Valid SMSTS certificate (essential).
