Electrical Project Manager – Permanent Opportunity

Our client is a highly respected Mechanical, Electrical and Design & Build engineering specialist with an outstanding reputation for delivering challenging and bespoke projects across a wide range of industry sectors.

With a strong focus on sustainability, they specialise in delivering innovative, energy-efficient, low-carbon engineering solutions, supported by extensive expertise in energy lifecycle modelling. Their turnkey capabilities span Industrial, Critical Resilience, Commercial Office Fit-Out, Retail and Public Sector developments, working with a diverse portfolio of prestigious clients.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the electrical package on a major sports stadia project in Northwest London.

This is a permanent position offering genuine long-term career prospects. Following the successful completion of the stadia project, the successful candidate will move onto a pipeline of exciting projects across London, providing excellent job security and continued career progression.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the electrical works from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. Working closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team, you will ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of all electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.

Monitor project programmes, budgets and resource allocation.

Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards.

Attend and lead client, design and progress meetings.

Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.

Manage procurement, commissioning, testing and project handover.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the Building Services or M&E sector.

Experience delivering large commercial, infrastructure, stadia, industrial or public sector projects.

Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services installations.

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Experience managing project programmes, budgets and subcontractors.

Relevant electrical qualifications.

SMSTS and a valid CSCS card (or equivalent).

A full UK driving licence is desirable.
