Position: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Leeds
Salary: >£60k + benefits
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our client who work with some of the UKs leading names in the Commercial and Leisure industry.
The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for:
* Responsible for effective Project Management and delivery across a diverse range of electrical projects including liaison with clients, consultants, and their representatives.
* Manage commercial aspects of projects in line with budgets and forecasting budgets for financial reporting
* Ensure project compliance with health and safety adherence including strategic planning and management of projects, produce risk assessments and method statements and undertake safety audits
* Management of internal and external resource to ensure project goals and customer expectations are met.
* Building and maintaining relationships with our clients and supply chain partners
* Attending pre-start and kick off and ongoing client meetings
* Identifying and organising resourcing requirements for projects
* Complete project review documentation
* Provide proactive support and guidance to all parties on compliance with statutory requirements and company standards
* Project a professional image to clients and colleagues
Qualifications / requirements:
* Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience of Project Management within the electrical industry
* Experience with managing projects from a similar industry
* Able to communicate and influence at all levels
* Able to work effectively whilst under pressure
* Able to assess and identify compliance shortfalls or engineering opportunities within designs
* Able to plan-ahead and prioritise workload
* Able to follow business processes whilst managing multiple time pressured tasks
* Right to work within the UK without limitation
* Must hold a full UK driving licence
Desirable criteria:
* Degree, HND in Electrical Engineering or Project Management (or working towards HND).
* Experience of work within the leisure and commercial industries
* Experienced in Management of teams of site personnel
* Open to change, resilient and proactive
