Location: Derby and East Midlands, United Kingdom

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee projects in Derby and the East Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing new build projects within commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, education, and healthcare sectors, with project values ranging from £1M to £20M. Mechanical qualifications are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

* Take full responsibility for planning, executing, and delivering electrical projects within designated sectors and geographical areas.

* Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are clearly defined, understood, and met.

* Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetary constraints.

* Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

* Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services, negotiating contracts and agreements to achieve cost-effective solutions.

* Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative working environment and driving performance to achieve project goals.

* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as required.

* Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering new build projects within commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, education, and healthcare sectors.

* Mechanical qualifications are essential, with a thorough understanding of electrical systems and installations.

* Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

* Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

* Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing electrical installations and construction projects.

* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites within the Derby and East Midlands area.
