What you'll be doing;

We have an excellent opportunity for a new role within our Electrification Services Department in London. The candidate will contribute to impactful projects reflecting Veolia's ambition to grow our offering in the following segments: Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure, Grid Flexibility Services and Local Loops of Energy.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team with a startup mindset, part of a group that is a leader in environmental services in the UK. The position will involve interactions with both local authorities and corporate clients.

Check contractor's submissions to ensure project delivery quality (Single Line Diagrams, Cable schedules, protection reports, datasheets). Design solution in collaboration with our delivery partners.

Take part in consultancy activities across the feasibility, design and delivery stages of full depot electrification for transition to Electric vehicles (EV).

Analysis of fleet and battery datasets and development of Veolia's analytical capabilities for electric depot operations.

Design the best power supply solutions for our projects. Liaise with the Distribution Network Operators (DNO) when necessary, and follow regulation changes.

Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure network management and troubleshooting.

Understand the requirements for EV infrastructure and carry out site surveys.

Manage the project delivery and communication with Distribution Network Operators (DNO).

Undertake financial and carbon analysis of the projects.

Understand and advise on the H&S implications for depot operation.

Contribute to tender activities.

Contribute to the strategy of the department and development of new products.

Secure grant funding for our innovative projects.

Developing business opportunities and commercial propositions by building and maintaining new and existing relationships with external and internal stakeholders

What we're looking for;

2 years of professional experience in a similar role

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems (at both grid and building level)

Extensive knowledge on LV electrical distribution.

Technically astute and a genuine interest in technology

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively

Good knowledge of Distribution Network Operation (DNO) applications.

Knowledge of the UK energy market structure would be a plus
