Electrical Mates / Improvers – AWE Aldermaston (2 Positions)
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for Electrical Mates / Improvers to support electricians on a long-term project at AWE Aldermaston, assisting with containment and installation works on a secure site.
This is a great opportunity to work on a large-scale project with ongoing work available.
Duties
*
Assisting with installation of containment systems including tray, basket, conduit, and trunking
*
Supporting 1st fix electrical work
*
Moving materials and preparing work areas
*
Assisting with lighting and power installation
*
Following instructions from electricians and supervisors
*
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
Requirements
*
ECS Card preferred
*
Previous experience on construction or commercial sites
*
Basic understanding of containment work
*
Own tools and PPE
*
Must be able to pass strict security clearance (can take up to 2 weeks depending on submission speed)
Key Details
*
Hours: 07:00 – 16:30 (9 hours paid)
*
Must be in the car park by 07:00 to secure parking
*
Long-term work available
Important

Must bring Passport, Driving Licence, and Utility Bill on first day
*
All candidates will be subject to Drug & Alcohol testing during induction
