Are you an experienced and skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician looking for a new opportunity? Major Recruitmen have an exciting position available for a proactive and dedicated professional to join our client's team.
As a Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of electrical systems for a manufactuing acility in Hexham.
Package:
Competitive starting salary £37,000 - (On call Allowence - £42k) Expected Earnigns of £47K
Core hours Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
On call rota (to be confirmed)

Training and development coursesResponsibilities:
Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM), inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment, machinery, and systems.
Identifying and repairing reactive electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and maximising equipment efficiency.
Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control panels.
Collaborating with other maintenance team members to address electrical and mechanical issues.
Assisting in the development of maintenance plans and procedures to enhance system performance and safety.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Participating in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.Requirements:
Recognised apprenticeship/industry qualification in Electrical Installation or Maintenance i.e. City & Guilds Level 3.
Up to date 18th edition I.E.E. wiring regulations.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting within a facilities management organisation.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and schematics.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to electrical maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and provide clear maintenance reports.
