Role Overview – Electrical Maintenance Technician
My client is a leading global FMCG corporation who specialise in mass producing food products to global fast-food companies. They are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team at their new facility in the Stonehouse area.
Key Responsibilities – Electrical Maintenance Technician
Ensuring all Health and Safety practices in all work are carried out.
Carry out Planned Preventative maintenance checks on a full range of onsite equipment.
Creating check and maintenance lists for new installations.
Review, completion and modification of construction plans of the production facilities.
Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position.
Understand and follow all PCP and CCP checks.
Management and escalation of high-risk situations.
Following the reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages.
Identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and product.
Key Experience – Electrical Maintenance Technician
Multi skilled in both Electrical and Mechanical with an Electrical bias.
Planned Preventative Maintenance systems experience.
Fault finding on Siemens PLC and material handling Automated systems.
Mechanical and electrical drawing interpretation experience.
Conveyor Maintenance and Motor Controllers experience.
Maintenance and servicing of production facilities.
High voltage switching, sortation and conveyor machinery experience.
Experience in building equipment fault finding (HVAC, Dock levelers, Chillers and general building maintenance)
Essential Requirements – Electrical Maintenance Technician
Engineering Apprentice trained (Essential)
HNC or equivalent (Essential)
Desirable Requirements – Electrical Maintenance Technician
Welding experience.
Siemens PLC fault finding.
Mechanical experience.
Electro pneumatic.
FMCG experience.
Experience of working in the food industry
