What You'll Be Doing

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll work across electrical and mechanical systems to ensure plant performance is maintained at the highest level. Key responsibilities will include:

Responding quickly to electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across production machinery, automated equipment and site services.
Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and inspections to a high standard.
Carrying out mechanical maintenance and breakdown repairs as part of a multi-skilled engineering team.
Identifying recurring equipment issues and supporting root cause analysis activities.
Implementing corrective actions to improve reliability and prevent repeat failures.
Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability and performance.
Supporting engineering projects, machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement activities.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records through the site's maintenance management system.
Following safe systems of work, risk assessments, isolation procedures and LOTOTO processes.
Contributing to high housekeeping, quality and safety standards across engineering and production areas.
Supporting the development of engineering standards, maintenance procedures and best practices.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a proactive maintenance engineer who enjoys fault finding, solving technical problems and improving equipment reliability.

You'll ideally have:

An Electrical Engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent.
Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
Strong electrical fault-finding, diagnostics and repair experience.
Good mechanical maintenance knowledge and practical experience.
Experience working on industrial machinery, automated equipment and production systems.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance principles and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact production.
The ability to prioritise workloads effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production colleagues.
A strong commitment to health and safety, engineering standards and continuous improvement.

Why You Should Apply

Join a respected Welsh manufacturer with a strong heritage and growing operation.
Work within a supportive engineering team where your ideas and improvements are valued.
Gain exposure to a varied manufacturing environment with modern production equipment.
Play a key role in reliability improvement and engineering enhancement projects.
