This organisation develops and produces specialist products that improve quality of life for people worldwide, operating within highly regulated, quality-driven environments.

With significant recent investment in advanced automation and production capability, the site is undergoing a period of transformation. This has created an opportunity for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in stabilising and optimising a complex, high-value production line.

What You'll Do:

You'll take ownership of maintaining and improving a highly automated production line, ensuring consistent uptime and performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your role will combine hands-on electrical maintenance with deeper problem-solving across automation systems, working closely with engineering and production teams to identify root causes and implement fixes that last.

You will:

Carry out fault finding, maintenance and repair on electrical and automated equipment
Support both reactive and planned maintenance activities to minimise downtime
Work with PLC and HMI systems to diagnose faults and support system improvements
Contribute to debugging and stabilising a recently introduced automated line
Collaborate with wider teams to remove recurring issues and improve reliability
Support improvements in process performance as the site continues to mature its automation capabilityWhat You'll Bring:

Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing setting
Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and automated systems
Working knowledge of PLCs, including fault diagnosis and basic interaction
Ability to work with HMI interfaces and understand automated processes
Experience interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation
A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability
Ideally exposure to continuous improvement or process optimisation
Flexibility to work shifts and support call-out requirements where neededWhy You Should Apply:
