Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Monday to Friday – 8am – 4pm

Up to 44k Basic salary + benefits inc:

Due to year on year growth and a recent promotion, a highly respected and successful manufacturer in Wigan are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to complete their successful engineering team on days
Working Monday to Friday your typical duties will include the following:
* Maintain and install all electrical & electro-mechanical plant or machinery in line with company requirements,
* Complete and comply with PM schedule to ensure that plant & machinery is in good working order,
* Reactive fault finding of any electrical or electro-mechanical related problems on the plant or equipment to return to production in a safe and timely approach.
* Interrogate PLC equipment, such as Allen Bradley & Siemens.
* Promote Lean thinking and actively look for ways to improve efficiency.
* Contribute to the installation of new equipment when required.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following skills & experience:
* You must have completed a formal Electrical Engineering apprenticeship from within a manufacturing background.
* You must have experience in planned maintenance strategies (PPM) and have a strong focus towards continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of wiring, circuits & electrical components
* Knowledge of PLC logic and fault finding.
* Familiar with VSD’s, both AC/DC & Servo systems.
* Knowledge of process controls.
* Able to read electrical schematic drawings,
* Experience working on pneumatics and hydraulic systems preferred.
* 17th or 18th edition preferred.
