Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £50-52K
Shift Pattern: Two different shifts are available - 4 on, 2 off (no weekends) OR 4 on, 4 off
Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to join an established & growing client in the Sheffield area.
The main tasks and responsibilities of the role include:
Accountability for all electrical work (planned / breakdown) occurring on the plant.
Providing first line maintenance/breakdown support
Managing electrical engineering activities on shift to comply with all internal and external health, safety and environmental requirements
Assisting with the planning of shift activities where particular expertise is required.
Carrying out and supporting continuous improvement activities when necessary.
Providing relevant information and reports of plant breakdowns to assist in the completion of Single Event Analysis (SEA) and acting as a member of the team assisting in the implementation of actions to prevent re-occurrences where applicable.
Generating accurate Engineering reports
Leading, coaching and developing other employees, including apprenticesYou will be:
Driven to work in a demanding and challenging environment.
Have proven electrical experience in industrial environments.
Able to demonstrate a good level of electrical knowledge and practical skills.
Able to lead, coach and develop other employees.
A good communicator, both verbal & written.
Able to demonstrate good planning skills and problem-solving abilities.
