Location: Tottenham Court Road, London
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, split shifts: 7:00am–4:00pm / 8:00am–5:00pm
Overtime: Available
Call-Out: 1 in 4 weeks – £100 standby payment
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team, working on a prestigious site based in Tottenham Court Road, Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable Monday–Friday position, with excellent benefits, overtime opportunities and genuine training and progression opportunities.
The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all systems and equipment are maintained to a high standard and operating safely and efficiently.
You will work as part of a professional engineering team and will be responsible for responding to maintenance requirements, fault finding and ensuring all works are completed in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults across the site.
* Complete electrical testing and inspection where required.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
* Work closely with the wider engineering and facilities team.
* Participate in the 1-in-4 call-out rota.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in commercial or critical building maintenance.
You should have:
* A recognised electrical qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds.
* 18th Edition qualification.
* Previous experience in a commercial building services or facilities maintenance environment.
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A professional approach with a strong focus on customer service and health & safety.
