Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Join our client's dedicated team in Warwickshire, where they specialize in manufacturing parts for prestigious automotive brands including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), Bentley, and Nissan. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader.
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical maintenance within the automotive, FMCG, or distribution sectors. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our production capabilities.
Rotating Shifts: Monday to Friday (3 Shifts: 6 am - 2 pm / 2 pm - 10 pm / 10 pm - 6 am)
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Reactive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs, specifically Siemens S7.
- Conduct basic maintenance and fault finding on ABB pick and place robotics.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer requirements:
- Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within the automotive, FMCG, or distribution industries.
- Competence in PLC fault finding (Siemens S7 preferred).
- Basic knowledge of pick and place robotics (ABB preferred)
