Electrical Maintenance Engineer

£42,000 - £46,000
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team working on a long-term commercial contract in Leeds.
The role will have an electrical bias, covering planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and installation works, alongside a range of general building services maintenance.
The Role:
Carry out electrical PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance through a helpdesk system.
Fault find, diagnose and repair electrical equipment and systems.
Undertake electrical installation and repair works where required.
Carry out general building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical tasks.
Ensure electrical equipment operates safely and to the required performance standards.
Monitor contractors and their workmanship when required.
Issue Permits to Work and ensure relevant standards and procedures are followed.
Provide a professional service and maintain strong customer relationships.
Work as part of a wider facilities management team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales. About You:
Strong electrical maintenance background with an electrical bias.
Previous experience working within facilities management or commercial building services.
City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
IPAF/PASMA desirable.
Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential. Working Hours & Package:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
