Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sandwich, Kent
Job Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotating days and nights (12-hour shifts)
Salary: £46,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a well-established manufacturer seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults across production equipment
* Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues
* Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
* Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
* Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime
* Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
What We're Looking For
* Formal Engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or above
* Minimum of five years' experience in electrical and mechanical engineering
* Completed apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, ideally within manufacturing
* Proven experience applying engineering knowledge to solve technical problems
* Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills
* Experience working with AC and DC motors
* Fundamental knowledge of Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
* Team player with a proactive approach to maintenance
