Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Grays, Romford

Shifts: 4 on 4 off (days and nights), 12 hours shifts (42 hours per week average)

Salary: Circa £50,000 + Extensive Benefits Package + Overtime (x1.5/x2) OTE 65k +

My client, a well established local manufacturing company, is seeking a multiskilled maintenance, electrical competent maintenance engineer to join a highly skilled team during this very exciting time in the business on a full time, permanent basis.

The company has a fantastic reputation in the sustainable plastics manufacturing industry globally. They supply their uniquely designed productions to household brands involved in large skill consumer goods. The company works closely with some big names in the packaging industry who supply their innovative plastic products over several continents.

The Candidate:

Working as part of a multi functional technical engineering team, your overall objective is to ensure the efficient running of all machinery on site, and in turn maximise production output as well as take charge of upgrades and improvement projects.

You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of planned and reactive maintenance of a very fast-paced production line including. As one of the senior electrical engineers on shift you must be competent in your abilities fault finding, reading electrical drawings and repairing electrical faults independently including inverts, three phase motors, sensors etc. You should be comfortable working as part of a team and able to show initiative where needed, input suggestions and show a genuine interest in making improvements to the site.

Requirements:

At least 5 years experience working on a similar manufacturing/production site.
Comfortable handling electrical faults on an automated site.
Hold a Level 3 BTEC / NVQ, / HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering.
Hold 18th edition
Knowledge of Inverter drives & PLC's such as Siemens or Allen Bradley
Strong understand of Health & Safety on-site

Easy commute from: Romford, Grays, Purfleet, East London, Southend-on-Sea, South Ockendon, Tilbury, Stanford-le-Hope, Rainham, Hornchurch, Upminster, Brentwood, Billericay, Basildon.
