Electrical Installer
TP Select is recruiting for a Electrical Installer to join an established technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician, Service Technician or HVAC Technician with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and experience working with equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Installer, you will be responsible for:

Delivering, installing and commissioning hire equipment at customer premises and remote sites.
*
Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs both in the workshop and at customer locations.
*
Attending customer sites to monitor equipment and ensure it remains fully operational.
*
Managing equipment logistics and the day-to-day operation of nominated projects.
*
Maintaining regular contact with customers and communicating project information effectively.
*
Preparing equipment for use and ensuring all instruments are within required calibration periods.
*
Working with the ExactAire Monitoring equipment system.
*
Reviewing installation methods and techniques and making recommendations to the Project Manager.
*
Managing equipment and ancillary stock levels at the local depot.
*
Monitoring competitor activity on customer sites and reporting relevant information internally.
*
Providing technical support across different areas and regions as required.
*
Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota for breakdowns and emergencies.
*
Maintaining compliance with company, quality and Health & Safety procedures.
*
Supporting ongoing technical learning and development.
About You
The successful Electrical Installer will have:
*
Electrical and mechanical engineering experience.
*
Working knowledge of basic machinery control circuits and electrical components.
*
Experience with voltage and current measurement.
*
Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical motors.
*
Understanding of fuses, relays, contactors and overload devices.
*
Electrical fault-finding and diagnostic experience, including 415V and 110V systems.
*
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
*
Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
*
A current forklift licence would be advantageous.
*
HVAC knowledge or an HNC in Mechatronics would be desirable.
