With a commitment to quality and innovation, we are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver to join our dynamic team and support our qualified electricians on various projects.
Job Description:
As an Electrical Improver you will assist our qualified electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. Your role will involve:
* Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
* Supporting the team in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Conducting basic inspections and testing of electrical systems under supervision.
* Helping troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
* Ensuring tools and materials are prepared and available for the job.
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified electrician or currently working towards an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* Basic understanding of electrical systems and installations.
* Familiarity with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable but not essential).
* Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic hand tools (advantageous).
* Full UK driving licence (preferred).
