Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Electrical Improvers to join our team on an industrial project in Runcorn. Working alongside qualified electricians, you'll assist with electrical installation works on a busy industrial site, helping to deliver high-quality installations safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting electricians with industrial electrical installations
* Installing containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable basket
* Assisting with the installation, glanding, and termination of SWA cables
* Pulling, routing, and dressing power and control cables
* Installing electrical accessories and equipment
* Working from drawings and following site instructions
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Complying with all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
* Valid ECS Card and IPAF (essential)
* Previous experience as an Electrical Improver on industrial or commercial projects
* Experience installing electrical containment
* Experience assisting with SWA cable installation
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
Desirable
* Ability to interpret electrical drawings
* Previous experience on manufacturing or industrial sites
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 40 hours per week
* Overtime may be available
