Electrical Improver – Enhanced DBS Required
Location: Norwich
Start Date: 20th July 2026
Hours: 8 Hours per Day (7:45am / 8:00am Start)
Rate: £23/£24
Electrical Improver Required
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Improver to assist with the installation of Solar PV systems across two school sites in Norfolk.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced engineer on commercial installation projects, with the possibility of the contract being extended.
Site Locations
Cromer
Thetford
The successful candidate must be willing to travel between both sites as work will be carried out concurrently.
Duties
Assisting with the installation of Solar PV systems.
Supporting the lead engineer with electrical installation works.
Working safely within live school environments.
Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Carrying out general electrical improver duties as required.
Requirements
Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential).
ECS/CSCS card.
Relevant electrical qualifications.
Previous experience on commercial electrical installations.
Own tools and full PPE.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel between both project locations.
