Electrical Foot Mobile Engineer

City of London (Tower Hill to Fenchurch Street) £45,000 per annum + Overtime Foot Mobile Role Full-Time | Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Foot Mobile Engineer to join a prestigious commercial maintenance contract within the City of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of four commercial buildings located between Tower Hill and Fenchurch Street, with occasional travel to a site in Baker Street.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a stable role within a professional and supportive environment, working across a portfolio of high-quality commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely.
Ensure all statutory compliance checks are completed and recorded.
Maintain lighting systems, power distribution, emergency lighting, and building services plant.
Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors when required.
Complete all documentation and reports accurately using CAFM systems.
Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and site management teams.
Support general building maintenance activities where appropriate.
Undertake remedial and project works as required.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

✅ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)

✅ JIB Gold Card (Essential)

Experience Required

Proven experience working within commercial building maintenance environments.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience carrying out both planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
