Electrical Fitter (Argyle & Bute) Excellent hourly rate

A1 Jobs are recruiting for x 2 Electrical Fitters to join our client on a 6-month project
Roles and responsibilities
* Day to day investigation and diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining mechanical aspects of facilities.
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and fitting on a variety of electrical systems.
* Defect identification and repair.
* You will work to required electrical regulations and be able to work from maintenance documentation in a safe and healthy manner
Essential requirements
* Proven experience in electrical fitting or maintenance gained within an industrial or commercial environment.
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Works in a safe manner - able to understand statements of work, risk assessments, etc
* Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces on occasion
Desirable experience
* Inspection and Testing of Electrical Systems, (BS2391) and 18th Edition IEE Regs (BS7671)
* Maintenance and fault finding on electrical cranes.
* Knowledge of 3 phase systems, working on 3 phase motors and associated controls
* Working on HVAC Systems, maintenance, and repair
* Being able to read schematic drawings and interpret them for fault diagnosis.
Qualifications
Recognised Electrical apprenticeship
Qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (NVQ3, City and Guilds, HNC etc)
Hours of work
36 hours per week, dayshift, Monday – Friday, overtime is available.
You must be able to achieve an SC level clearance level for this role
