If you are a qualified Electrician looking for a field-based opportunity with a good mix of installation work, fault finding, and day-to-day independence, this could be the job for you.

This role sits within the growing domestic ventilation sector, supporting social housing and residential properties to tackle mould, condensation, and poor air quality through specialist ventilation systems.

You’ll be out on the road carrying out installations, repairs, inspections, fault finding, and practical electrical work across occupied social housing and residential properties.

The role requires an electrically qualified Engineer who is practical, organised, customer focused, and comfortable working independently.

What You Will Be Doing

Install domestic ventilation systems within social housing and residential properties.

Carry out inspection, repair, and replacement works on existing ventilation systems.

Complete electrical testing, fault finding, drilling, fitting, and practical installation work.

Work within occupied homes while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Complete fit sheets, photographs, electrical certificates, and job updates using company systems.

Manage van stock, tools, and materials to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.

Work closely with scheduling and operational teams to maintain service standards and delivery timelines.

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety procedures.

Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Skills & Experience Required

Electrical installation background within domestic, residential, or social housing environments.

Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Electrical Installation.

18th Edition qualification.

Strong practical installation and fault-finding skills.

Comfortable lone working and managing workloads across multiple locations.

Good practical trade skills and problem-solving ability.

Ventilation, PIV, or MVHR experience beneficial but not essential. Full training provided.

Comfortable using tablets and digital systems.

Strong communication skills and professional customer manner.

Full UK driving licence essential (maximum 6 points).
