Electrical Estimator
Salary: £40k - £50k per year + company benefits
Location: Hertfordshire – WFH 3-4 days per week
Hours: Monday to Friday with no weekends

Our client has experienced rapid growth since its establishment in 2021, establishing itself as a leader in the utilities industry and green energy sector. They operate nationally, serving a diverse client base including renowned names such as Tesla, Aqua Super Power and Go-Ahead.
  
As a NERS accredited ICP specialising in EV charging infrastructure installations, they offer end-to-end services throughout a project's lifecycle. Our clients industry is vibrant and fast-paced, and they are proud to be actively contributing to a greener future through their innovative projects.
  
We are on the lookout for an Electrical Estimator to contribute to a diverse range of projects, spanning LV/HV connections to comprehensive onsite builds and installations. As an integral part of our clients team, you'll manage multiple tender inquiries across various clients, crafting comprehensive tender packs for review by the Tendering Manager.
  
This role is based at our clients Operations Head Office in Hertfordshire, offering opportunities for site visits while also embracing hybrid working arrangements.
  
Key Responsibilities

Finalise tender submissions in collaboration with the Tendering Manager for optimal bid presentation
Review tender enquiry documents carefully to guarantee precision and thoroughness
Foster and maintain client relationships, fostering both existing connections and new opportunities
Engage in Pre-Construction meetings with Operations & Project Management teams following successful bids
Coordinate with IDNO partners to ascertain asset values relevant to project scopes
Employ PDF or Google Maps tools for precise measurement of designs, ensuring accuracy in take-offs
Keep internal tendering trackers updated and comprehensive   
Qualifications/Experience

Proven experience in Electrical estimating within the Electrical Utilities/ICP industry
Ability to interpret electrical specifications and schemes
Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Thorough understanding of ICP industry, including DNO and IDNO processes
Familiarity with electrical installation principles in both LV & HV works
Knowledge of Streetworks requirements/NRSWA regulation
Experience in bid/tender writing
