Location: Romford, Essex
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established M&E contractor for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Romford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across London and the South East, including Cat A & Cat B office fit-outs, commercial developments, hotels, education and high-end residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical estimates from drawings and specifications.
Produce take-offs and cost plans using Excel and estimating software.
Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Prepare and submit competitive tender returns.
Attend site surveys and tender meetings.
Identify value engineering opportunities.
Support project handovers following successful bids.Requirements
Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E or Electrical Contractor.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Experience with Countfire (desirable).
Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ (desirable).What's on Offer?
